これで恩師、渡辺昭夫先生に約束した「日米同盟を基盤とした多角的安全保障」に大きな一歩を示せました。2008年にミクロネシア海洋安全保障事業を一人で立ち上げ、イバラの道を歩んだかいがありました。
I have been invited to the International Conference on Law Enforcement in Pacific Island Countries in Fiji and have been busy preparing for it. In the meantime, I have posted photos and FB links on my blog.
When I launched the Micronesia Maritime Security Project in 2008, I promised my mentor, Prof. Akio Watanabe, that I would promote the "Higuchi Report," or Japan's multilateral security based on the Japan-US alliance! I can now report to him. Professor Watanabe is 90 years old. He is in good health.
