日本のインド太平洋の動き、全然フォローしていませんでした。

国家安全保障局長だった北村滋氏。安倍政権のインド太平洋構想を推し進めた中心人物。

10月26日（日本時間27日）ハワイで、トランプ政権のカウンターパートだったロバート・オブライエンと会っていました。

10月26日の感動は、いつか書ける日が来るでしょうか・・

100年前の日本は北村さんレベルのベストアンドブライテストがミクロネシアに関与していました。重光　矢内原　大平正芳...　本当はそのレベルが関与する地域なんです。

北村氏にインド太平洋の本来の課題である小島嶼国にエンゲージメントして欲しい。

I didn't really follow Japan's movements in the Indo-Pacific at all.
Mr. Shigeru Kitamura was the Director General of the National Security Council. He was a key figure in pushing the Abe administration's Indo-Pacific initiative.
On 26 October (27 October Japan time), he was in Hawaii meeting with Robert O'Brien, his counterpart in the Trump administration.
I wonder if I will ever be able to write about the excitement of October 26...
I haven't read "Information and the State" yet.
One hundred years ago, Japan had a Kitamura-san level of best and brightest involved in Micronesia. Shigemitsu, Yanaihara, Masayoshi Ohira...　It's really a region where that level should be involved.
I would like Kitamura-san to engage with the small island states, which is the essential problem of the Indo-Pacific.
